For moving surveys, you can use the SM5 to record location data alongside your audio recordings.
There are two primary ways to record audio and location data simultaneously using the SM5: using the Transect function of the Song Meter Configurator app to record a KML file, and using the built-in GPS/GLONASS receiver of the SM5 to record location data to the recorder's summary text file.
