A schedule can be comprised of multiple schedule blocks, which can be entirely separate or overlapping.
Schedule Blocks Can Use Different Schedule Parameters
Each schedule block can use entirely different schedule parameters. One schedule block may have its start and end times set relative to sunrise and run every day, and another block may use clock-based scheduling and only run every other day for a single month.
Schedule Blocks Cannot Use Different Recorder Settings
All schedule blocks use the same recording settings, such as Sample rate and Gain. The schedule system cannot alter the recorder's settings.
Overlapping Recording Periods Are Merged
If recording periods created by two different schedule blocks overlap with each other, the SM5 treats the overlapping periods as a single recording period.
