Pair the SM5 with the Song Meter Configurator App - SM5

Pairing allows you to configure the SM5 and access all functions from the app.

1. Power on the SM5.
2. Launch the Song Meter Configurator app on your smartphone or tablet.
   The app opens to the Recorders screen. Within a few seconds, the name of your SM5 should appear in the list.
3. Press the Pair button on the SM5.
   The Pair LED will blink blue, and a Pair icon will appear next to your recorder's name in the app.
   
   
4. Select Pair in the app.

   The app will read the SM5's settings. If the SM5's clock, location, or time zone settings do not match the settings on your phone or tablet, the app will prompt you to update the SM5's settings automatically.

   Once paired, you can select Configure to edit the SM5's settings.

5. Select Unpair in the app or press the recorder's Pair button again to end the connection.
   You must unpair with one recorder before you can pair with a different one.
