The SM5 uses its location coordinates to estimate when sunset and sunrise occur each day. Location data is also saved to recording metadata and the recorder's summary text file.
Latitude and longitude can be specified to five decimal places. Rather than using positive and negative values to distinguish between hemispheres, latitude values use either N (North) or S (South), and longitude values use either E (East) or W (West).
