The Song Meter Desktop Configurator is compatible with 32- and 64-bit Windows systems.

Before you begin

Installing the Desktop Configurator normally requires administrator privileges. Ask your IT department for assistance if you do not have the necessary privileges on your computer.

Procedure

  1. Go to https://www.wildlifeacoustics.com and go to My Account > Downloads > SM5 Family > SM5 Family Configurator Software > Windows > Download.
  2. Open the downloaded installer, SM5ConfiguratorInstaller-X.Y.Z.exe.
  3. Follow the instructions to install the software for all users on your computer.
  4. Go to the installation directory you selected and open the sm5config application.
