You can quickly adjust a single recorder's settings while paired to it with the mobile app.

About this task

While paired with an SM5, you can adjust any of the recorder's settings, and the app will immediately update the recorder as you make each adjustment.

If you want to configure a large number of recorders to use identical settings, it is faster and more consistent to instead use a configuration file saved in the Song Meter Configurator app or on an SD card.

Procedure

  1. Pair the SM5 with the Song Meter Configurator app.
  2. In the app, select Configure.
  3. Select and change any setting within the app.
    The SM5's display will show Changes saved.
  4. When you have finished making changes, return to the Recorders screen and select Unpair.
