Loading a configuration file that has been saved to the Configuration Library is a quick way to apply consistent settings and schedule parameters to a large number of recorders.

Before you begin

You must have at least one configuration file for your recorder model saved in the app's Configuration Library. You can create or acquire a configuration file using one of the following methods:

  • Create a configuration file from scratch from within the Configuration Library.
  • Save a paired recorder's settings as a configuration file.
  • Import a configuration file from another app on your device into the Song Meter Configurator app.

Procedure

  1. Pair the SM5 with the Song Meter Configurator app.
  2. In the app, select Configure > Load and select a file from your Configuration Library.
    The app will only list files that are compatible with the paired recorder model.

    If the configuration file was set to a different location or time zone, you will be asked if you want to use your smart device's current settings.

    The app will display a Success message, and the SM5's screen will display Changes saved.
