Download Song Meter 3D Models

Wildlife Acoustics provides downloadable 3D models of some Song Meter recorders to use in designing custom mounting solutions.

About this task

These downloadable files show the external features and dimensions of the Song Meter models listed below. You are welcome to use the files to help design custom mounting solutions or enclosures.

  • Song Meter SM5BAT
  • Song Meter Mini 2
  • Song Meter Mini Bat 2
  • Song Meter Micro 2

The models do not include any internal features of the recorders, and they represent the default configuration of each recorder. For example, the SM5 model includes two acoustic stub microphones with windscreens, and the SM5BAT model does not include any acoustic stub microphones.

Procedure

  1. While reading these instructions, select Attachments.
    Attachments are located to the left on a desktop or laptop browser, and at the bottom of your screen on a mobile device.
    On desktop, Attachments are listed below Table of contents and Search in documents.

    On mobile, Attachments are listed at the right of the bottom row of icons.
  2. Select an attachment file to download it.
  3. Open the .stl file in a 3D model editor or viewer that supports the format.
    Wildlife Acoustics cannot provide support on using 3D modeling or CAD software.
